Inpod condition & energy monitoring system

Pricing starts from £3,250

Faraday Predictive was named winner of the 2026 ABB Startup Challenge Motion High Power division, recognising the company’s patented, sensorless MBVI approach to non-invasive predictive maintenance. Inpod is the most advanced expression of that technology.

Next-generation switchroom-mounted condition and energy monitoring for rotating machinery

Inpod turns electrical signals into actionable condition intelligence and is Faraday Predictive’s latest evolution in continuous condition monitoring. Compact, rugged, and DIN-rail mounted, Inpod is purpose-built for three-phase rotating machinery.

Building on the proven performance of the S200, Inpod delivers the same trusted MBVI insights in a smaller, more robust form factor, with extended temperature capability and an enhanced analytics platform.

Designed for modern industrial environments, Inpod provides always-on visibility of asset health and energy performance without sensors, downtime, or disruption. See how condition monitoring can suit your business.

What does Inpod do?

Inpod continuously measures the three-phase voltage and current supplying your motor and uses Faraday Predictive’s proprietary MBVI analytics to detect early-stage mechanical and electrical faults across the motor, drivetrain, driven asset, and connected process.

It also calculates the energy being wasted as faults develop, enabling maintenance teams to prioritise work, justify interventions, and prevent failures before they impose operational disruptions.

what does the Inpod detect?

Faults and phenomena detected

Motor-related faults

  • Bearing wear and degradation
  • Stator electrical faults
  • Rotor bar defects and eccentricity
  • Electrical unbalance and phase issues

Mechanical and drivetrain faults

  • Misalignment
  • Mechanical imbalance
  • Bearing problems
  • Transmission looseness or rubbing
  • Foundation looseness
  • Any other spectrum peak beyond the normal expected values

Driven asset and process issues

  • Pump cavitation
  • Blockages and restrictions
  • Flow, load, and process instability
  • Valve and impeller-related anomalies

Power quality and electrical phenomena

  • Electrical odd and even harmonics
  • Voltage and current unbalance
  • Voltage THD
  • Current THD
  • Active power, reactive power and power factor

If more detailed machine specific information is available, such as individual bearing type codes, the number of vanes on a pump, or the ratios of transmission systems, then the system will automatically identify any problems associated with these, and report on them specifically.

But if you don’t have this information, the unit will still function well using generic fault parameters instead.

Simple, flexible installation

01

Designed for fast deployment with minimal disruption, delivering insights in as little as 30 minutes.

02

DIN-rail mounted inside the motor starter cabinet, or in a nearby enclosure where space is limited.

03

Current transformers fitted around motor supply cables or connected to existing protection CT secondaries.

04

Local processing performed at the device, with Ethernet communication for scalable deployment.

Clear, actionable insights

  • Asset-wide condition dashboards
  • Traffic-light health forecasting for current condition, one month, and three months
  • Trend, waveform, and frequency analysis
  • Automated fault detection and alerts

The Inpod dashboard is accessible on desktop, tablet, or mobile via your existing network, so your team can check machinery health at any point, whether on site, in the office, or off site. No additional software installation required.

Inpod condition & energy monitoring system insights

Smarter decisions. Lower risk. Better energy performance.

With Inpod, you gain continuous oversight of your critical rotating machinery, reducing unplanned downtime, avoiding unnecessary maintenance, and revealing exactly where energy is being lost.

Inpod delivers the full S200 fault coverage – re-engineered for modern switchrooms and future-ready analytics.

If you are interested in an inpod installation, and want a complete package price and ordering description, send us a little information on the motors you want to monitor (voltage, current, line driven or inverter driven, is there an existing motor protection system in place) and we’ll get back to you with a comprehensive quote covering all of the hardware, software, and associated services for a full implementation.
